Peter Thomas‘ punishment from the IRS doesn’t end with his prison sentence … the former Real Husband of Atlanta will have to abide by conditions for supervised release post-prison, including drug and alcohol testing.
Per court docs obtained by TMZ, Peter “has to join a substance abuse testing program during his two years of supervised release.” This will follow his 18-month prison sentence.
Peter’s been ordered to “lay off excessive alcohol drinking and canโt buy, use, or mess with any narcotics or similar drugs.” A probation officer will keep an eye on the restauranteur and has the right to search him if they have a reason to suspect he’s involved in anything nefarious.
In case you missed it:
Peter failed to pay the government more than $2.5 million in employment taxes. According to reports fromย The Baltimore Banner, Cynthia Bailey’s ex will spend two years on supervised release. Peter was also ordered to pay restitution.

Peter shared a video message telling his followers it was time to โface the musicโ after pleading guilty. He reflected that it was the 50th anniversary of his arrival in America. โI didnโt think I would be celebrating it quite like this.โ
Peter hoped to settle the matter through a payment plan, but he learned โit doesnโt work like that.โ He offered a warning to business owners. โPay your payroll before you pay your rent. The landlord can evict you, you ainโt gonna go to jail though. But you will go to jail for not paying your payroll taxes with the United States government.โ
