Rachael Kirkconnell is getting a taste of the “Ariana Madix life” after scoring a brand deal post break up.
ICYMI: Matt James abruptly ended his relationship with Rachael after 4 years of dating. Within hours of breaking up, the former Bachelor issued a statement via Instagram.
Social media quickly thought it was a joke considering the couple was abroad at the time of the post.
Rachael stayed purposely quiet on the topic (outside of alluding to being blindsided) until appearing on the Call Her Daddy podcast.
The creative director revealed she was more invested in the relationship than he was. She would work overtime to appease him — constantly planning trips, finding restaurants to film content, etc.
Despite all of that, Matt still couldn’t picture a future with her. AFTER FOUR YEARS.
Mind you, Rachael won her season of the Bachelor. However, Matt ultimately decided to not propose at the end the season.
She Who Gets the Last Laugh
On February 22, Rachael posted a collaboration with Brawny paper towels poking fun at her split.
The ad shows Rachael making a mess in the kitchen. She jokes about finally having someone to “depend on.”
“Someone strong and reliable too”
The caption reads:
“turns out it’s not the dinner spot but who’s in the kitchen @brawnybrand #BrawnyPartner”
