Porsha Williams and her former “plus one,” Shamea Morton, are not as close as they once were.
In the early Atlanta days, Shamea was introduced as Porsha’s best friend — solely aligning with her.
Now, Shamea is reintroduced as the glue of season 16. It’s her show and for good reason. She’s an Atlanta native, well-connected, and very rich.
Within the first two episodes, we can already tell their friendship is unraveling and quickly. Showing up late to your best friend’s birthday AND interrupting her gift presentation? Not a good look Ms. Williams.
However. where do the besties stand now post filming?
Porsha confirmed suspicions on a recent live.
“When you come on the show, and you have certain expectations and things seem to turn on you, without you knowing, that can change any relationship,” Porsha said.
Also, fans noted that PJ’s mom hasn’t yet promoted Shamea’s new song, Neva Had.
Porsha claims she never received the song and therefore couldn’t promote it, unlike the rest of the women.
It truly is sad these two are no longer close because you couldn’t see one without the other most times.
Envy runs deep and it appears Shamea has everything the returning peach holder has ever wanted.
