Real Housewives of Beverly Hills personality Paul PK Kemsley filed a new court document that discusses the mortgage for the family home and Dorit’s “excessive” spending habits.
Us Weekly reported that PK denied Dorit’s recent motion claiming he failed to cover the mortgage on their family home and other household expenses following their separation. Instead, she’s spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on luxury items for herself.
Regarding the sale of their home, “[Dorit] does not contend that the [home] should not be sold, but rather only disputes the timing and conditions in terms of the sale which she maintains should be by mutual agreement.”
“She does not contend that she has the financial ability to maintain the home and she does not acknowledge that she has any obligation to pay for the residence that she exclusively occupies.”
Dorit had reported her income, as prepared by her accountant, as $45,748 per month and claimed that the mortgage payments total more than she makes. PK claimed Dorit’s calculations are incorrect, claiming that his ex is also “significantly overstating” his cash flow.
PK’s team alleged that Dorit hasn’t made any payment for the mortgages, only covering certain costs for utilities and staff payroll. PK also claimed that Dorit’s expenses, totaling $900,000 for wardrobe and glam, are not required in her RHOBH contract.
“She prioritizes the purchase of wardrobe, makeup, and hair to appear on the RHOBH and spends substantially in excess of any reasonable amounts for those items rather than prioritizing the payment of expenses for herself, [their] minor children, or the residence she exclusively occupies.”
