OG Influencer Perez Hilton was hospitalized after deputies with the Miami-Dade County Sheriff’s Office (MDSCO) were sent to his Florida home for self-harm.

The blogger repeatedly cut himself with a butcher knife during a TikTok livestream.
MDSCO confirmed to PEOPLE that Perez is currently under medical supervision, with crisis response teams assisting his family.
Deputies were dispatched to the scene upon receiving numerous calls from concerned viewers who had witnessed the distressing livestream on social media. Upon arrival, deputies discovered Perez was alone inside the home at the time of the video.
“In many incidents involving a person experiencing a mental health crisis or actively harming themselves, deputies prioritize de-escalation by creating time, distance, and opportunities for communication,” the spokesperson for the Sheriff’s Office said.
After the video ended, graphic clips appearing to show Hilton covered in blood circulated on social media.
