Pepe Garcia is proving just how unbothered post–Love Island USA he really is.
The season 7 star responded to a fan on Snapchat who asked how he was doing after his breakup with Iris Kendall — and her recent recoupling with fellow islander TJ Palma.
First things first, Pepe clarified that he and Iris were never actually exclusive. He wasn’t defending Iris.
In fact, he was defending himself.
ICYMI: Pepe was accused of cheating on Iris the same day the season 7 reunion aired.
Rumors swirled that he hooked up in a hotel lobby with a coworker, which only fueled speculation about their split.
And let’s not forget that their breakup occurred around the same time news broke that season winners Amaya and Bryan also called it quits.
As for Iris finding her way back to TJ after Pepe’s exit from the Villa?
Pepe made it clear he’s not losing any sleep over it.
“I feel great and like I said on the [Cyrus] podcast, I hope EVERYONE is happy,” Pepe said.
“You never know when life ends and why would I ever want anyone to be sad.”
Fans might remember that Iris and TJ were spotted meeting up shortly after leaving the island.
At the time, Iris claimed it was strictly for “closure.”
Well… clearly the door was never fully closed!
