ICYMI:
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills personality dated the Days of Our Lives and Melrose Place actor for nearly five years in the late ’90s.
Despite their romance ending, the pair stayed close friends for decades. The Daily Mail reported that Denise is “inconsolable.”
Lola paid homage to the wonderful man Patrick was:
“I thought you were the one that was supposed be in our lives forever,” began Denise’s youngest daughter. “When I think of my childhood, I think of you, Pat. It’s gonna be so weird to go on without you in our lives. You were such a huge part of our family, and life will never feel the same, but that’s just because of how much you impacted us.”
“Thank you for showing everyone around you how to be alive. You were the definition of what it means to have fun. I’ll never forget when we were on that trip with my mom, and you wouldn’t stop singing that Lola song to me, and made me laugh so hard. You know that song will always make me think of you.”
“I will really miss hearing my mom laugh on the phone with you. Your voice always brightened my day, and i’m gonna miss hearing it. I know my mom will more, but we will never stop talking about you.”
“Thank you for being the best friend to her. Thank you for being the one to make her laugh and forget about all she’s going through. That was a gift you had.”
“The bond you two had was something so special that no one can touch.
When I think of my mom, I think of you. You guys came as a package, and I’m so thankful I got to know you and witness a friendship so pure and special in front of my eyes.”
“I always begged my mom – I’m sure she told you – that you guys would end up back together haha, but I guess staying best friends was better anyways ♥️. You really were a rockstar, Pat, and forever will be. Have fun up there. I know you will. Love you.”
