Paige DeSorbo is opening up about an abusive relationship she had in her early twenties.
2024 ended with Paige DeSorbo and Craig Conover calling it quits.
Some Bravo accounts reported that the couple were secretly engaged. Some accounts reported they were secretly broken up. No matter where you fell on the Paige and Craig conspiracy spectrum, you just felt something was happening.
On the December 30th episode of Giggly Squad, Paige shared that she and Craig have decided to go their separate ways. She maintains that there is no bad blood between either party, they both were just on two different wavelengths and timelines.
The entire episode was chockfull of encouraging sentiments and girl power in the best way. However, toward the end of Paige’s manifesto, she revealed she was in a physically and emotionally abusive relationship.
“I feel like If I’m going to say it, this is the episode I would say it,” Paige revealed. “I know for a fact a ton of other girls have been in them too.”
Paige Gets Candid
The Summer House star detailed the “very weird time in her life” at just nineteen years old.
“I was fully brainwashed. Until I got out of that, I didn’t even know that person.”
“I obviously don’t think about that now because it was over 10 years ago.”
Paige recounted carrying shame during that time, not telling anyone what she was going through. But now she has a sense of pride for not only handling it the way she did, but because she survived it.
“And I’m proud of myself on talking about it and letting girls know it can literally happen to anyone. I feel like a lot of gigglers see me as very confident. And it’s like, but it also happened to me. That doesn’t make you not confident.”
