Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi shared a recent health scare with her TikTok followers.
The Jersey Shore star revealed she’s been dealing with abnormal Pap smears for the past four years.
Those results ultimately led to an “uncomfortable” colposcopy and biopsy after doctors found precancerous cells.
“Results come back. Doctor calls me and he’s like, ‘Not looking great.’ He found cancerous cells on the top of my cervix,” Snooki shared on January 22.
She’ll now need a cone biopsy performed under anesthesia for further testing.
“I’m terrified,” she admitted.
“It’s scary, but we have to get it done because cervical cancer is nothing to joke about.”
Depending on the results, Snooki may have to undergo a hysterectomy.
“Obviously I’m done having kids, but as a woman, the thought of getting a hysterectomy is just sad and scary,” she said.
“Getting the hysterectomy and then not being able to have kids — I think that’s what’s killing me.”
Still, Snooki stressed that her priority is her health and her family.
“But whatever it takes to keep me healthy and safe to be here for my kids that I have now,” she said, referring to her three children with husband Jionni LaValle.
Snooki hopes that by sharing her story on social media, it will help other women in similar situations feel less alone — especially since she’s found comfort and support from her own community while navigating this journey.
