The Bravo door might not be officially closed to Nene Leakes — but it’s certainly not swinging open for The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 17.
After RHONY alum Carole Radziwill popped up on WWHL despite her long-running beef with Andy Cohen, fans speculated the same might happen with Nene. However, the OG herself set the record straight: she’s not returning.
“They have NEVER offered me to return,” Nene shared. “Good luck to the Season 17 cast. We will be watching.”

Season 17 Casting Tea
Kenya Moore recently teased that two new faces are joining — one from Love & Hip Hop and a well-known restaurateur.
Rumors are also swirling that Shereé Whitfield and Kim Zolciak-Biermann will film in some capacity. Kim even popped into the clubhouse alongside her daughter Ariana, sparking speculation that “Wig” might be making a cameo.
Why Casting Matters More Than OG Comebacks
Bravo is in a unique era where fans crave the magic of the early Housewives days.
But instead of relying on OG returns, the real key may be casting genuine friends and connections to the current lineup — bringing back that organic drama rather than manufacturing a cookie-cutter version of seasons past.
