Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Nene Leakes says her former co-star Kim Zolciak is “not OK” as her teenage son faces serious legal troubles.
During a Friday appearance on The Big Tigger Morning Show, Nene revealed that she reached out to Kim last week to check on how she was holding up.
“I spoke to Kim last week. I just hit her up.” Nene explained, “I wanted to know how she was doing and make sure she was OK with what her son is dealing with.”
“I know that’s a tough time, and I know she’s not OK.”
ICYMI, Kim and Kroy Biermann’s 15-year-old son, KJ Biermann Jr., was arrested on August 21 and charged with aggravated sexual battery and sodomy.
Later, court documents revealed that prosecutors referenced alleged “multiple encounters” on KJ’s phone involving an alleged sexual assault of a family member under the age of 12.
KJ is scheduled to be arraigned on October 14 and is expected to plead not guilty.
