Real Housewives of Orange County alum Meghan King lost custody of the three kids she shares with Jim Edmonds following an investigation by Child Protective Services.
The new custody status:
The source told Us Weekly that a school employee called Child Protective Services about Meghan, which led to an investigation.
Meghan was stripped of physical custody within the past couple of months.
The former Bravo star was granted “supervised visitation while Edmonds has sole physical custody. The decision is temporary, and a hearing will be held on whether the custody arrangement will become permanent.”
It’s been reported that a hearing is scheduled to take place in early December to further determine custody matters.
Jim and Meghan were married from 2014 until 2019. They worked out a settlement in May 2021 and agreed to share joint custody of Aspen and the twins, Hart and Hayes.
Jim’s wife, Kortnie, called the cops on Meghan:
In September, Kortnie Edmonds alleged that Meghan entered their home without permission.
Us Weekly obtained a report from the Frontenac Police Department detailing the incident. The docs said Meghan went “to the residence several times throughout the day and was currently on scene causing a disturbance.”
Meghan fled the scene, but cops pulled her over. She told police she was at the home to drop off clothes for her daughter.
Kortnie Edmonds initially filed for a restraining order on May 2, 2025. The case was dismissed on June 6, 2025, after the two parties agreed to a consent order, which requires both women to stay 150 feet away from each other at any activities for the children.
The agreement also includes a social media “gag order” for Meghan, prohibiting her from posting about Kortnie.
