Mauricio Umansky is on the road to recovery after breaking his clavicle on Aspen’s ski slopes.
The estranged Real Husband of Beverly Hills took to his Instagram page to share his progress post-accident.
Mau’s clavicle update:
Mauricio began by sharing gratitude. “Thank you to everyone who has reached out. I have felt so much love and support.”
As for the injury and subsequent surgery needed, Mau explained, “I had surgery on my clavicle.”
“It was a clean break, but required a metal plate and 12 screws. I expect a speedy recovery.”
“The doctors and nurses at Aspen Valley Hospital are the best.”
Mauricio concluded his message with a PSA … “I was wearing a helmet and that for sure saved me.”
Mau’s daughters showed support in his comment section, but his estranged wife, Kyle Richards, has yet to comment publicly.

“They’re crucial. Even with the kids, a short journey, they have to wear a helmet.”
“I’m lucky to be standing here. I’m in pain, it’s been a brutal week and I’m sort of getting through it. I cannot tell you the importance of wearing a helmet.”

The star of Netflix’s short-lived Buying Beverly Hills is thankful for Aspen’s rescue team and hospital staff. “I feel so blessed to be taken care of by such amazing humans. Ski patrol, paramedics, Aspen Hospital, you’re all the best.”
Mau paired his stories with photos of him in an arm sling, in a hospital bed, and a photo of his x-ray. He captioned the pics, “Let’s get this [clavicle] surgery done so I can heal.”
“Play hard. Sometimes you get hurt, but the care here has been incredible.”
