Despite the devastating loss of her son earlier this week, Mary Cosby is reportedly planning to film for the upcoming season of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
According to TMZ, the decision to return is entirely Mary’s and not the result of any pressure from Bravo.
The outlet reports that Mary views going back to work as a way to maintain some structure during an unimaginably painful time, leaning heavily on her faith and inner circle for support.
The RHOSLC cast has also reportedly put aside any lingering on-camera drama to rally around Mary, with sources saying past tensions simply don’t matter right now.
ICYMI: Filming for Season 7 was originally slated to begin this week but has been paused in the wake of Robert Jr.’s passing.
It’s unclear when production will resume, but when cameras do pick back up, Mary is expected to be involved in some capacity that feels comfortable for her.
On Monday, TMZ first reported that Salt Lake City police responded to a “full arrest/medical emergency” call involving a 23-year-old male.
Fire and paramedics were dispatched, and the situation became a death investigation upon arrival.
Though Robert Jr.’s official cause of death has not been confirmed, police initially responded to a possible overdose.
We will continue to follow this story and share updates as they become available.
