The star of Bravo’s Love Hotel, Luann de Lesseps, shared a story about NOT having sex in a church before giving a message to the Pope, who passed away last month.
The Real Housewives of New York alum shared a NSFW story with Watch What Happens Live host Andy Cohen.
When in Rome?!
The former Countess revealed that a man once invited her to have sex at a church in Rome.
“I had a boyfriend at the time and one of this best friends called me up on the down low and said, ‘Hey, Lu. Want to meet me in a church?’ He wanted to have sex in church.”
Luann, however, said she turned down the offer because she is Catholic. “I mean, I can’t think of anything more sacrilegious than that. Especially in Rome.”
Speaking of Pope Francis …
“The Pope just passed away,” Lu continued, putting her hands in a prayer as she looked toward the sky.
“Rest in peace, darling.”
Confused, Andy asked, “Was that a message to the Pope?”
“That was,” answered Lu. The cabaret crooner took her hands into a prayer once again and added, “I love you,” speaking to the late Pope Francis.

The RHONY Legacy star performed a sold-out show in London’s iconic West End Theater in February. Countess Luann was introduced by Oscar-winning actress Tilda Swinton.
Tilda addressed the enthusiastic crowd. “My lords, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, king and queens and everyone in between.”
“It gives me great pleasure [and] joy to welcome all to this lucky stage in this happy house on the ground. Chic C’est La Vie, you’re favorite woman and mine: the glorious Countess Luann de Lesseps.”
I attended the Countess’s show in Los Angeles last month. The sold-out show had people on their feet singing and dancing all night.
