Can I pull you for a chat about the claims that Love Island USA votes were tampered with?
America voted for their favorite girl and boy, leaving the bottom three for each vulnerable. Producers at Peacock are getting slammed for America’s voting results not adding up.
How we got here:
After playing Hate to Burst Your Bubble, host Ariana Madix literally burst the Islanders’ bubbles by announcing an elimination.
Andreina Santos, Gracyn Blackmore, and Jaden Duggar are the girls who found themselves up for elimination. TJ Palma, Austin Shepard, and Taylor Williams were the boys in danger.
The safe Islanders had to stand behind who they wanted to save. In a polar opposite vote to America’s vote, the Islander saved was Taylor. Gracyn, Jaden, TJ, Austin, and Andreina were sent home. Many fans were disappointed as TJ was sent home despite being in one of the strongest couples with Iris Kendall.
Girl math, literally:
Considering Cierra Ortega, Chelley Bissainthe, and Olandria Carthen have lost hundreds of thousands of Instagram followers this week, further reinforcing the inconsistency for America’s ranking for ‘most popular.’
ICYMI, a video of Cierra mocking the physical features of another culture resurfaced. Since Yulissa Escobar was exiled from the Villa earlier this summer for using a racial slur, many are calling out Peacock (and Ariana Madix‘s) hypocrisy.
When considering the votes earned for ‘most genuine’ and ‘most trustworthy,’ the bottom three in both categories were Chelley, Andreina, and Clarke. It’s interesting that Andreina is the only person voted in the bottom three for ‘most popular.’
Boy talk:
America voted Austin, Ace, and Taylor the ‘least genuine’ and ‘worst boyfriend material.’
The three least popular, according to America’s alleged votes, were Taylor, TJ, and Austin.
Since Ace has been criticized consistently for trying to spearhead the villa, America not voting him as one of the least popular boys simply doesn’t add up.
America has spoken:
