The Anonymous

Series Premiere
What to expect:
The vibe feels exactly like The Circle on Netflix. Isolated contestants who communicate through an app. The Traitors is channeled with the promise of backstabbing and betrayal.
Like The Circle, the cast consists of ‘normal’ people rather than ‘celebs’ … except for Andy King, who you may remember for being meme’d after Netflix’s FYRE: The Greatest Party That Never Happened documentary. Also, there are a couple of reality competition show personalities in the mix.
As a big fan of The Circle, it’s best described as Big Brother, but isolated and through an app. Being that The Circle is only accessible to Netflix customers, I’m excited this concept can be enjoyed by others.
The show description:
According to SoapCentral.com, “Fans who enjoy competition reality shows such as Squid Game, The Challenge, and The Traitors are in for a treat. The Anonymous will feature 12 players who spend their time in separate domains and personal underground hideouts.”
“With their strategic, unfiltered takes on the other participants, they can deceive and plot against their competitors to become more popular and enhance their influence over others. All these, while staying ‘Anonymous,’ is the game. Additionally, players who remain anonymous will receive powers. The last one to stand will take home the prize pot of $100,000.”
