Lisa Barlow opened up about how the passing of Mary Cosby’s only child changed the tone of the upcoming season.
The RHOSLC star reflected on the devastating loss during an appearance on Radio Andy.
“It was the hardest thing to experience,” Lisa began. “It was a bonding moment for sure.”
The night before cameras picked up for season 7 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, Robert Jr. lost his battle with substance abuse.
The Baby Gorgeous singer admitted she was “crying all night” after hearing the news.
Despite the unimaginable loss being deeply felt throughout the group, Lisa said Mary has handled it “so incredibly well.”
“I think when you have such a strong relationship with God, it can get you through anything,” Lisa continued.
Reportedly, cameras were not present at Robert Jr.’s funeral, but the Vida Tequila owner shared how beautiful it was to see Mary and Robert Sr. in their element during the service.
And according to Lisa, the tragic loss of Mary’s son “changed the tone of the entire season.”
ICYMI: At just 23 years old, Robert passed away on Feb. 23, 2026.
Salt Lake City police confirmed the death, saying officers initially responded to an overdose call that later became a death investigation.
The entire RHOSLC cast attended the funeral service, including Lisa Barlow, Meredith Marks, Heather Gay, Whitney Rose, Bronwyn Newport, Angie Katsanevas, and Britani Bateman.
Other Bravolebs who traveled to Utah to pay their respects included Kyle Richards, Cynthia Bailey, and Shereé Whitfield.
