After just two seasons on Married to Medicine, Lateasha “Sweet Tea” Lunceford is saying goodbye to the Bravo franchise — though it seems the departure wasn’t entirely her choice.
Sweet Tea took to Instagram Live to share the news with fans, responding candidly to a follower who called the show “foul.”
“It definitely was foul,” she agreed, hinting at behind-the-scenes drama that led to her exit.
“I really wanted to leave it to my fans to figure out what was going on… because know that I’m not a quitter.”
Lateasha added, “Never ever been a quitter. And I never ran away from anybody. It just is what it is. There are better things in store for me. That platform was what it was at the moment and I think God has something better, and I’m going down the right path.”
Fans first met Lateasha during Season 10 as the new wife of Dr. Gregory Lunceford. Dr. Greg was previously married to Married to Medicine OG Quad Webb.
Naturally, that connection stirred up its fair share of tension within the group.
While her time on the show may have been short, Sweet Tea definitely left a lasting impression.
