Lala Kent and Tamra Judge are both seeing the same thing on The Real Housewives of Orange County — the rules aren’t applied evenly.
Lala was the first to bring it up on her podcast, pointing out how gently the cast handled Shannon Beador’s 2023 DUI.
“Everyone rallied around her, a lot,” Lala said.
“The whole Bravo universe rallied around her.”
She’s not wrong.
Shannon entered season 18 humbled, tail between her legs, and the strategy worked. Her DUI was quickly overshadowed by Alexis Bellino and John Janssen drama.
Meanwhile, Tamra hasn’t gotten that same level of compassion. After quitting during the New Orleans trip, she says the cast turned on her instead.
“If the roles were reversed, they’d have your head on a platter,” Lala told her bluntly.
Tamra revealed Gina Kirschenheiter even called out the hypocrisy during filming, though she’s not sure if Bravo will actually air it.
Now, Tamra is questioning whether she can keep doing the show:
“It’s to the point now where I’m like, I just don’t know if I can do this anymore.”
Here’s the thing: I’m not defending Tamra’s messy history — but it’s also fair to admit she reinvigorated RHOC when she returned in season 17.
