Lala Kent is opening up about getting over heartbreak… or lack thereof.
The Valley star appeared on the Comfort Food podcast, where she got candid about her split from Randall Emmett — and why it didn’t hit her the way people might expect.
“This sounds so f-cked up,” Lala began.
“I didn’t have to deal with heartbreak because I wasn’t in love with him.”
According to Lala, Randall’s betrayal ended up being a blessing in disguise — giving her the out she had been wanting.
“I was so happy that I finally had a reason to leave him because I desperately wanted that so badly.”
She also acknowledged how shocking that may sound, especially considering how hard she publicly “rode” for him throughout their relationship.
“It was high highs and low lows, and I wanted nothing more than to get the f-ck out of that relationship.”
ICYMI: Lala and Randall initially kept their relationship under wraps during her early Vanderpump Rules days.
When his identity was revealed, so was his marriage to Ambyr Childers — with Lala maintaining she didn’t realize she was involved with a married man.
The couple split in October 2021 after nearly six years together, following photos of Randall with another woman in Nashville.
At the time, their daughter Ocean was just seven months old.
