Lala Kent and Ambyr Childers’ relationship has seriously come a long way—especially considering their shared history with Hollywood producer Randall Emmett (aka both of their baby daddy).
ICYMI: Randall was married to the You actress from 2009 to 2017. Lala entered the picture in 2015… meaning yes, there was some overlap. And while you wouldn’t expect the ex-wife to buddy up with the other woman, these two have rewritten the script entirely.
On a recent episode of her podcast, Lala opened up about how she and Ambyr have not only found peace—but are now co-parenting their daughters (who are half-sisters!) and leaning on each other in the process.
“It shows the strength of her, truly, rather than me,” Lala admitted.
“I was the other woman. Whether I knew that or not—whether I chose to turn a blind eye—who knows? I have apologized profusely to her for the pain I caused.”
According to Lala, Ambyr told her to let it go and even forgave her for being the “other woman.” And now? They’re bonded for life.
“It’s wild that when she’s struggling, I can be her strength. And when I’m struggling, she becomes mine. We have this really beautiful balance.”
Lala also praised Ambyr for rising above their shared trauma, saying, “She did not let the experience with our baby daddy define her.”
