Lala Kent reflects on her days as a SURver.
These are not the best days of our lives. Season 12 of Vanderpump Rules will feature an all new cast, saying goodbye to the familiar faces we’ve come to know and love these last 11 years.
On November 26, we learned that Bravo has finally “let the mouse go” ending the fan favorite franchise as we know it.
Per reports, season 12 will feature Lisa Vanderpump with a new group of SUR employees. None of the original cast are set to return.
The current Vanderpump Rules cast are slowly beginning to make their sentimental posts. Shockingly, Lala Kent was the first to bid farewell to the iconic franchise.
This One’s For You Tonight
Following the breaking news, Lala took to Instagram to express her gratitude for the show that changed her life.

“Where to begin. I was a young girl from Salt Lake City who made her way to L.A.
I would introduce myself as Lauren, but because my childhood best friend referred to me as Lala, my nickname quickly stuck,” the Bravo star begins.
“Sur was a place that became home. I found myself not only sipping on vodka sodas there, but behind a hostess standโฆ it still to this day is the most intimidating job l’ve ever had. A short time later the opportunity to be on a show called Vanderpump Rules landed in front of me. I have such mixed feelings right now. It’s no secret I do not like change. This is the exception.”
“I want to say thank you for rocking with us for so many years. This show changed my whole life. I’m unbelievably grateful for every moment. I’m unbelievably grateful for Bravo, for NBCU, for our crew, the entire cast, and most importantly all of you. We rocked this bitch until the wheels fell off,” Lala concludes.
Bitter Sweet
We all knew this was coming. With Ariana Madix taking over the world by storm, the fractured friend group, the fans turning on Scheana Shay and Lala — it truly was only a matter of time.
However, Vanderpump Rules was once a show with no names and it grew to what it is today. We will give the fresh batch of SURvers there fair shake, but nothing will ever come close to the magic that was the OG cast.
Pouring one out for the cast, crew, and the viewers. What a ride its been.
