KJ Biermann is out of jail on bond, but the 15-year-old son of Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann is facing strict restrictions while he awaits trial on felony sexual assault charges.
According to Page Six, KJ was released this week after spending nearly a month in custody. He is now living with Kim, who formerly appeared on Real Housewives of Atlanta, at her home in Alpharetta, Georgia, under a set of stringent bond conditions.
KJ’s new reality reportedly includes virtual schooling, no cellphone, no social media, and no sports. He is required to remain at Kim’s roughly 4,000-square-foot, six-bedroom home and will be subject to electronic monitoring.
The teen is also prohibited from having direct or indirect contact with the alleged victim, her family, or her associates. His bond conditions additionally bar him from having contact with anyone under the age of 16.
According to a Sept. 15 filing, KJ was required to surrender his passport to his pretrial officer before being released.
The restrictions were imposed by Fulton County Superior Court Judge Melynee Leftridge after she granted KJ a $200,000 bond on Sept. 11.
During the bond hearing, KJ’s attorney, Jason Sheffield, reportedly argued that his client is “not a boisterous kid” and that Kim would be able to supervise him because she is not currently employed.
KJ was formally indicted earlier this month on charges including aggravated child molestation, aggravated sodomy, aggravated sexual battery, false imprisonment, and three counts of aggravated sexual battery against a child under 16. The charges stem from an alleged incident at a Life Time Fitness location in Alpharetta earlier this year.
KJ has not been convicted of the charges, and the allegations remain pending in court.
