Kim Kardashian may not have passed the bar exam, but thankfully she has a sense of humor… and a ton of energy.
The reality star launched a new campaign for her latest business venture, UPDATE.
UPDATE is a canned energy drink powered by paraxanthine.
According to the company, paraxanthine is the primary metabolite of caffeine and is designed to provide sustained energy without the jitters, crashes, or overstimulation.
As a co-founder of the brand, Kim leans into her famous “get your ass up and work” persona throughout the campaign.
The ad opens with Kim holding a mock press conference.
“People are always asking about all of the work I’ve gotten done… They always ask, ‘Kim, how do you do so much? Kim, how do you keep going? Kim, are they really real?’”
“Honestly, my energy is just different.”
The hopeful lawyer also pokes fun at her legal journey and the fact that she hasn’t yet passed the California Bar Exam.
“No, I didn’t pass the bar. I raised it.”
ICYMI: While she didn’t attend law school, Kim completed California’s six-year Law Office Study Program legal apprenticeship, graduating in May 2025.
She took the California Bar Exam in July 2025 and revealed that November that she didn’t pass.
Her next attempt is expected in 2027.
