Kenny Martin and Whitney Fransway are taking their relationship to the next level!
The In the City stars announced on Tuesday, Sept. 22, via a PEOPLE exclusive that they’re officially headed down the aisle.
Kenny popped the question on Saturday, Sept. 19, at Hotel Caesar Augustus in Anacapri, Italy.
The proposal spot sits nearly 1,000 feet above sea level on the slopes of Mount Solaro, overlooking the Bay of Naples.
“I was in complete shock, shaking and crying, but it was the easiest ‘yes’ for me,” Whitney told the publication.
“I feel so seen and supported with Kenny.”
Kenny revealed he even flew to Florida to ask his future in laws for their blessing before proposing, disguising the visit as a work trip.
And that wasn’t the only secret he managed to pull off!
Kenny also disguised the proposal as a brand deal through Whitney’s manager, staging a fake partnership with the hotel.
He rented out the same dining nook and terrace that Whitney says has “the best sunset view in Capri.”
“It honestly took me a moment to even process what was happening, and I couldn’t stop crying,” Whitney shared.
“With the view and the flowers and the violin, it felt straight out of a storybook. I’m still pinching myself.”
Kenny proposed with an elongated cushion-shaped diamond set on a gold band.
ICYMI: During the debut season of the Summer House spinoff In the City, the friend group questioned Whitney’s cross-country move for Kenny — especially with no ring in sight.
In fact, Lindsay Hubbard and Kenny’s best friend Gavin Mosley were among the biggest critics of the relationship, particularly after Kenny questioned the longevity of their spark.
