Real Housewives of Orange County alum Kelly Dodd vehemently denied recording and sharing “revenge p*rn,” as reported by TMZ.
Kelly and her husband, Rick Leventhal, took to Instagram to share a message about the news they deemed fake. They only scratched the surface on social media, as they encouraged listeners to get the full story on their Patreon … behind a pay wall.
“It’s hilarious to me, by the way,” began Kelly. Rick gave context to the episode. “Headline from TMZ [‘RHOC’ Alum Kelly Dodd – Accused of Revenge Porn … Facing Jail Time!!!].”
Rick continued, “We can’t tell you much right now because Kelly hasn’t gone to court yet. We can confirm Kelly is going to court. We can also confirm that TMZ got most of the facts wrong. Like, completely wrong.” He said to Kelly, And I know you CAN’T WAIT to reveal the truth.”
“I need some uplifting right now,” Kelly revealed. “This is so insane. I know it’s someone in my family who is putting this stuff out there. You know who it is. I just got a text message on Rick’s phone.”
Rick promised, “We’re going to share that too, on our Rick and Kelly Show on Patreon.
While Kelly didn’t explicitly say which family member she thinks is talking to TMZ, she had a very public spat with her brother last fall. Eric Meza alleged that no one in Kelly’s family talks to her – even her daughter Jolie “disowned” her.
“Nobody talks to her. My mother doesn’t talk to her, and she’s not invited to my niece’s wedding. My dad doesn’t talk to her. I don’t talk to her. Her nieces and nephews don’t talk to her.”
“Doesn’t that tell you something?” asked Eric. “Nobody wants anything to do with her. The only person who talks to Kelly is Rick. They’re two peas in a pod. He doesn’t even talk to his own daughter. So, that’s self-explanatory.”
