Katie Thurston has an exciting update amid her breast cancer journey.
The Bachelorette alum announced on Oct. 16 that she currently has no evidence of disease while attending the Breast Cancer Research Foundation’s 2026 Symposium & Awards Luncheon in New York City.
Katie also shared that she made a symbolic $610 donation toward breast cancer research, with each dollar “representing every day I’ve been alive since being diagnosed.”
“So because of you, I’m here,” she said, referring to the importance of continued research.
“For the first time, today, in public, I am currently no evidence of disease.”
ICYMI: At just 34 years old, Katie was diagnosed with breast cancer on Feb. 13, 2025.
Her diagnosis was initially evaluated as stage 3 triple-positive breast cancer. However, doctors later discovered the cancer had spread to her liver, leading to a stage 4 metastatic breast cancer diagnosis.
The reality star has since undergone a double mastectomy and targeted treatments as part of her cancer journey.
Now, Katie is celebrating an incredibly hopeful milestone.
