Katie Maloney is tired of Scheana Shay rewriting history — so she just dropped her side of the wedding drama bombshell.
On her podcast, Katie responded to claims Scheana made in her memoir, where Scheana accused her of hitting a “new low” by showing up in Mexico during her big day.
In between jabs calling Katie “a drunk” and “forgettable,” Scheana painted the trip as Katie intentionally crashing her wedding trip.
According to Katie, she had zero interest in attending the cast trip — let alone being anywhere near Scheana’s nuptials or Tom Schwartz’s fling with Rachel Leviss.
The only reason she went? Production begged her to.
She revealed that Bravo was sold on two parallel trips: Scheana’s wedding and Katie’s own getaway.
“That was how they got Bravo to agree to go to Mexico,” she added.
Katie admitted she never spilled this behind-the-scenes detail before because she didn’t want to seem like “an asshole.”
But since Scheana has been dragging her name in her memoir and on podcasts, she felt it was time to finally air the truth.
And then came the kicker:
“Here’s the thing — I’m good at my job. I don’t spoil behind-the-scenes stuff, I don’t make producers’ lives hard. That’s why I’ve never been demoted… unlike Scheana.”
Katie closed her rant by making it clear she wants nothing to do with her former costar, saying she’s tried to cut ties completely.
