Real Housewives of Orange County‘s Katie Ginella reflected on her former friendship with Jennifer Pedranti in an interview with Page Six.
Fractured friendship:
“We are not as close anymore,” began Katie. “It’s horrible. We used to literally wake up every morning and talk on the phone while I had my coffee.”
The former friends chatted every night, too. Katie recalled a time when she didn’t talk with Jen before bed, and she was frantic. “I didn’t text her back for two hours. She messaged me, ‘911. Are you alive? Did you die? Are you kidnapped?'”
“We used to talk so much our kids became friends, so that was the worst part of the whole season – losing somebody that I invested so much time into that I cared so much about. I still care about. Our kids can’t even talk anymore. So, it’s not good.”
What went wrong?
Katie was asked what happened with Jen.
Was she 1) Was Jen “overwhelmed” with the “pile up” against Katie, or 2) did Jen take it as an opportunity to get ‘in’ with the other RHOC cast members?
Katie answered, “I think two things can be true. I don’t know. I can’t speak for her. But, I think two things can be true.”
Katie didn’t divulge deets, but she said RHOC fans will see a particular moment play out later in the season that was the nail in their friendship’s proverbial coffin.
