Karen Huger entered rehab instead of facing the music at the season 9 Real Housewives of Potomac reunion.
RHOP fans slipped into the comment section of Bravo TV’s Instagram post to ask why Karen wasn’t present.
Where’s Karen?
Ryan Tresdale, Karen’s manager, released a statement on her behalf. “Karen made the important decision to enter a private recovery program, so she was unable to attend the reunion taping today.”
“She was fully supported in this choice. We stand behind Karen as she embarks on this meaningful journey, and we are proud of her for taking such a significant step forward in her personal growth.”
Fans were quick to call Karen out:
- Convenient way to avoid being held accountable while also saving face. Isn’t she still appealing the court’s decision?

Karen was found GUILTY:
The 61-year-old Real Housewife was charged with a DUI and DWI, negligently driving a vehicle in a careless and imprudent manner endangering property, life, and person, as well as recklessly driving a vehicle in wanton and willful disregard for the safety of persons and property.
Other charges include failure to control vehicle speed on the highway to avoid a collision, driving a vehicle in excess of reasonable and prudent speed on the highway, driving a vehicle on the highway with suspended registration, and failure to notify administration of change of address within 30 days.
She was found guilty on all charges except reckless driving.
At the time, the Montgomery County Police Department confirmed that Huger had been involved in a single-vehicle collision in Potomac. Law enforcement said the television personality crossed a median and struck multiple street signs but was not injured at the time of the crash.
