Queer Eye‘s Jonathan Van Ness lost 66 pounds and was open about how he did it.
How JVN lost the weight:
“Gonna be basic and post a before and after on the next slide.” Jonathan even offered a warning to his followers who get “p*ssed off” with content that is “weight-related.”
The Netflix personality is grateful for the assistance of medicine in his weight loss journey. “I want to note GLP-1s have been a huge help, [but] I have made other changes.” FYI, some brand name GLP-1s include Ozempic and Mounjaro.
“First, was my diet, obvs. Second, way less alcohol. Finally, group pilates … which has been most pivotal.”
“My mental health and overall feeling is a different universe since last year and the biggest change was group fitness. Overall though, I’m so proud of myself and want others to share.”
JVN isn’t the first reality star to using weight loss meds:
During an appearance onย Watch What Happens Live,ย Andy Cohenย commented on how โthinโ the RHONJ fav has gotten. Jokingly, he asked if โOzempieโ was the catalyst for her weight loss and (to Andyโs surprise) Dolo enthusiastically said, โYup!โ
A flabbergasted father of two followed up asking, โWhat housewife ISNโT on Ozempic?โ
Dolores answered, โNot oneโ before Andy noted, โhalf your castโ is on the hard-to-get medication.
There was no argument from Dolo! She added, โI wasnโt going to come to the reunion looking any bigger than anyone else. I got on the bandwagon.”
The mom of two informed Bravoโs daddy that she didnโt have any side effects except sheโs โjust never hungry.โ (I’m not a doctor, but isn’t ‘never’ being hungry a side effect?!?!)
Emily Simpson from the Real Housewives of Orange County was also open about using Ozempic.
