Real Housewives of New Jersey star Melissa Gorga gave an update on her home life with Joe Gorga after filming Wife Swap: The Real Housewives Edition.
Melissa traded her pristine, luxe New Jersey mansion for a colorful, lived-in Georgia home.
Way to go, Joe!
Melissa wasn’t only caught off guard with the Clark family’s lack of cleanliness and organization, but she was pleasantly surprised to see a man do as much around the house and with the kids as Sean did.
“It’s crazy. I went home and was like, ‘Joe. What do you do? You go to work. I’m going to need you to do more.”
“He’s been washing the dishes, that’s an update. [Joe] washes dishes now.”
Melissa still won’t go to work with Joe, though:
While it’s clear that Melissa has incorporated some of the Clarks’ lifestyle into her own, one thing she’ll never do is go to work at a construction site with her husband, much like Michelle did during her stay in New Jersey.
“I could never. Honestly, I always say Joe goes into work mode from six in the morning until six at night. Even if you call him, he’s like a different person,” she said. “I cannot when he’s in work mode. He’s a totally different person when he’s home than when he’s at work, so it’s not good for us to work together.”
