Jessi Draper is reflecting on the change of heart she’s had since undergoing plastic surgery.
While promoting the upcoming season of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, the Utah-based influencer addressed the constant criticism about her appearance.
Jessi admitted she’s avoided discussing her surgeries anymore because of the intense scrutiny, but recently revealed that she is now “extremely unhappy” with the results.
Back in December 2025, Jessi shared that she wanted to tighten the skin on her face after losing weight.
She initially went in for a lower blepharoplasty, before later deciding to also undergo an upper bleph.
According to Jessi, she trusted the process and followed her doctor’s recommendation to add facial fat grafting. The procedure involves taking fat from another area of the body, in her case the upper thigh, and injecting it into the face.
“I wish I wouldn’t have done it. I wish I said no,” Jessi admitted on Instagram.
She also revealed that fat was transferred into her lips during the procedure without her realizing it at the time.
Fans have since called out her lips online, describing them as uneven and “lumpy.”
“My face looks terrible. I totally agree,” she said candidly.
To help combat the swelling, Jessi recently underwent a Kybella treatment, which works to destroy fat cells.
Essentially, she’s now trying to reverse some of the changes from the surgery she had just months ago.
Lesson Learned
Despite the difficult experience, Jessi says watching the upcoming season of Mormon Wives gave her a new perspective.
Seeing footage of herself before the procedures made her realize how beautiful she already was.
“I have such self confidence issues and looking back I can totally see how I was blinded by those insecurities and I was beautiful,” she shared.
“I wasn’t able to say that a few months ago, but I can say that now. I went way too far because of those insecurities.”
The Hulu star now says that aside from Botox, she has no plans to alter her face again and wants to focus on finding confidence from within.
Jessi also hopes her experience serves as a cautionary tale for others who may be considering cosmetic procedures.
For her, the desire to keep making tweaks ultimately “ruined” her life.
“I genuinely feel like this last surgery ruined my life,” Jessi said.
“My whole life is my image,” she added.
“I’m on camera, on a TV show, doing press interviews, and now I’m getting ripped apart by everyone.”
Season 4 of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives premieres March 12 and will feature Jessi before the procedures she underwent late last year.
We won’t see Jessi’s new look until Season 5 rolls around.
