Former Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Jen Shah told PEOPLE which of her ex-castmates she is still friendly with, who she’s avoiding, and who can expect a phone call from her.
Meredith:
According to Jen, the only person she remained in contact with from the show was Meredith Marks. Jen called her a “good friend.”
“Meredith has been somebody that has been consistent throughout this whole journey. “While I was gone, she and Seth would reach out to Coach and just check in and send their love. So yeah, we’ve talked.”
“I called her while I was gone, and I spoke with her when I got home.”
Mary:
Jen recently reached out to RHOSLC star Mary Cosby after the death of her 23-year-old son, Robert Jr.
“I felt like that was the respectful thing to do, so I mailed her a card and just told her how deeply sorry that I was to hear about the passing of Robert Jr., and that she’s in my family’s prayers every day.”
“I wanted to write to her and let her know that even though I hadn’t talked to her obviously for a few years while I’ve been gone, that I care about her, especially with right now, what she’s going through,” she continues. “And I chose to reach out privately because I didn’t want it to be a distraction. … I wanted it to remain about what Mary was going through and about her son and honoring his memory.”
Heather:
According to Jen, Heather has some explaining to do regarding her infamous black eye. “Yeah, I need to talk to her about that. Actually, you know what? I need to call her. I need to call her about that. I do need to get on that.”
“That’s on the top of my list, actually. We do need to talk about that black eye, the alleged black eye.”
Monica:
Jen’s former friend, Monica Garcia, appeared on RHOSLC for a season, but wasn’t asked to return after she was identified as Reality Von (Tea)se. “I heard about Monica. Yeah, I heard.”
“You know what? I feel like that’s not even worth discussing, really, because why give something like that any sort of life or air?”
The rest of the cast:
Jen’s future relationship with Lisa Barlow is uncertain. “Gosh, it’s so funny when you go through something like this that puts things in perspective. I don’t even remember where we ended or the fights or whatever.”
“Lisa Barlow is somebody that I’m sure I could pick up where I left off with her and talk to her.”
Jen remains positive that her relationships with Whitney Rose and Angie Katsanevas can be mended. “I would hope for that.”
