Former star of The Valley, Jax Taylor, remained sober in Las Vegas, which is no easy feat.
Jax, who starred on the first 8 seasons of Vanderpump Rules, took to Instagram to share his accomplishment.
Performing a mashup of the Golden Girls theme song and Vanilla Ice’s Ice Ice Baby for his phone, Jax wrote, “Who knew Vegas could be this much fun sober? 😂🎰 Had an amazing weekend 🙏.”
Shortly after Jax’s sober post, he shared a pic to his Instagram story teasing a launch of what appears to be the unsold merch from his since closed bar, Jax’s Studio City.
Jax wasn’t invited to join the cast of The Valley for its third season, citing a need to focus on his mental health and personal growth.
The ex-bar owner has celebrated over a year and a half of sobriety following a 90-day inpatient treatment stay for mental health, bipolar II disorder, PTSD, and past substance struggles.
His estranged wife/baby mama, Brittany Cartwright, filed for divorce in August 2024. In late August 2026, Brittany obtained a temporary restraining order against Jax following a domestic violence filing.
Jax confirmed he is in a relationship with Lori Krebs (his and Brittany’s former publicist), following photos of the pair traveling together that many think Lori leaked.
