The Valley’s number one guy villain in the group, Jax Taylor, had his podcast tour canceled after abusing his estranged wife and his excessive cocaine use.
According to reports from The Sun, the entire tour got canned as a result of the backlash from his recent behavior.
Boy, bye:
Jax’s plan was to take his podcast, In the Mind of a Man, on the road.
After weeks of the 45-year old soon-to-be-divorce heavily promoting the tour, his team decided to pull the plug. They “cancelled the majority of the venues as they didn’t feel the timing for this was appropriate.”
For the record, “A couple of the venues cancelled on their own after getting heat from the public scrutiny” Jax received as a result of his actions. Once certain venues cancelled due to “pressure from the public,” his team decided to cancel the remainder of the dates.
A separate source told The Sun that Jax was still set to perform at City Winery Nashville this week on Tuesday, June 3. But, the club was notified “last minute” that the show was canceled with “no explanation” as to why.
ICYMI:
In March, Jax announced he was taking his clown show new podcast on the road.
“My new podcast series @inthemindofaman is coming to a city near you! Special guests in some cities and everyone’s favorite publicist Lori will joining. I’ll be hosting these unfiltered conversations live kicking off April 18 in Nashville, TN! Get your tickets now in the link in my bio.”
By April, dates were getting cut. His live podcast tour was slated for a 12-city tour beginning in Nashville on April 18th, with the tour closing in D.C on a date to be announced.
Jax was down to only 8 stops for the tour, as his team had to scale back. That started with their opening date, which never happened!
Bravoholics reached out to Wanderlust Wine Co., which is was hosting Jax’s podcast tour in Austin on May 16. The team at the venue replied, “Thanks you so much for reaching out and bringing this to our attention. We completely understand your concerns and take them very seriously.”
“After an emergency meeting with our team and partners, we’ve taken immediate steps to begin pivoting away from this host. Since this was a third-party production, we’ve been working closely with them to make a change. They’re already in the process of finding a new host who better reflects our values and the spirit of what we want to create.”
