In a preview of The Valley‘s season 2 premiere episode, Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright discussed the table-flipping incident that forever altered their relationship.
“All hell broke loose” when Jax saw NSFW content Brittany sent Julian Sensley of herself. Jax’s violent reaction “completely changed everything,” noted Brit in the trailer.
The straw that broke the camel’s back:
Brittany discussed Jax’s reaction to finding out she was still talking to Julian, Jax’s former friend. “He flipped the table over and it hit my knee. It turned black immediately. I’m screaming [and] crying. It was terrifying.”
Jax yelled, “YOU’RE CHEATING ON ME! YOU’RE STILL TALKING TO HIM!” Never forget, Jax and Brittany agreed they could date others while separated AND Jax was “publicly parading” OnlyFans model Paige Woolen around town.
Cruz‘s dad explained what happened:
Jax vented to Jesse Lally about Brittany. “She was planning on moving back into my home (‘My home’ lol. We all know Brittany is the breadwinner, but go off, Jax…) but yet sending inappropriate messages. What?!?! She told me, ‘Let’s work on our marriage. Then, I see she’s still texting this guy.”
Divorcรฉe to divorcรฉe, Jax asked Jesse to put himself in his shoes. “What would you do? You’d probably be mad, [but] you wouldn’t necessarily throw things.” Jesse clocked Jax, “That’s because you have no emotional regulation.”
During a confessional, Jax admitted they agreed to dating other people. “But a friend?! Come on.”
He continued, “It was bad. I’ve gotten angry before, but that’s the worst it’s ever gotten. Cruz was in the other room. Thank god. I lost all control [and] had an out-of-body experience.”
“Show me a guy who wouldn’t handle the situation the way I handled it.”
