Jax Taylor lost his mind when he found out his estranged wife, Brittany Cartwright, was hooking up with his friend, Julian Sensley.
The Valley‘s villain was a guest on Bravo’s Hot Mic podcast. Jax detailed what led to his breakdown.
Jax’s breaking point:
“When we separated, we decided to take some time apart. But,” Jax continued, “There [were] some things that happened during the separation that I just can’t come back from. There were relations that she had with friends of mine.”
Jax explained how he learned his estranged wife was getting boned by his friend, Julian Sensley. “I saw it on her phone.”
“We were sitting in my house, and her phone was on the coffee table, and a message popped up. I looked at it. It was a simple message from Julian, but it was at night. It was just a very weird message” that contributed to Jax’s breakdown.
“I called her on it, and I caught her in a couple of lies. Then, I got it out of her. An hour into the conversation, she finally broke and told me. That’s where it started.”
The alleged friend group agreement:
Jax continued, “I was just in shock. When we separated, we agreed … We said, ‘Hey, listen, we can see other people.’ We thought maybe we needed to go our separate ways and see other people to see if we were right for each other. But one of the rules was no friends or nobody we know.”
“I don’t think I would have been bothered by it if it was somebody else I didn’t know, but the fact that it was one of my friends that I brought into my group, that I’ve taken care of, that I’ve helped get a manager, that I’ve helped build relationships with, I’ve helped, I just did a lot for this guy. I just felt like it was such a slap in the face to me a little bit,” claimed Cruz’s dad, during his Jax breakdown.
“There was a whole five, six months where I wasn’t seeing anybody, but this was going on. And we were going back and forth. She was sometimes staying at the house. We were going out to dinner. We were kind of, yes, we were separated, but we were still hanging out with each other. Meanwhile, she was dating this guy.”
“I don’t have the best track record. I’ve done my fair share of things. Maybe it’s karma, but man, I definitely got a taste of my own medicine.”
“It put a really bad taste in my mouth. And that’s kind of where the downward spiral started for me.” Jax continued to discuss what led to his breakdown. “The last eight months of my life have been hell. I went off the deep end. I really did.”
Jax claimed things were on the mend with Brittany:
“I was leaving for a week for 4th of July. We had relations before I left, literally right before I left. Things were looking good; things were looking great.”
“I come back home and I said, ‘Hey, what do you think about moving back?’ She said, ‘Yeah.’ Then, she was upstairs cleaning and I just saw the iPad. She was still talking to Julian and sending him pictures. Like, naked pictures and pictures of my son. And I was just like, I lost it.”
“That was where I hit the bottom of the barrel. That’s where I just saw red. I kind of had an out of body experience. I’m not gonna lie to you. I went crazy. I threw furniture. Luckily, thank God, thank God my son was upstairs. But, that was my breaking point.”
“Then two days later, I ended up in an institution.”
