Savannah Bananas star Jackson Olson wants Dancing with the Stars fans to know he’s coming into ABC’s ballroom dance competition as a novice.
Jackson took to Instagram to respond to claims that he has an “unfair advantage” due to his experience performing with the Georgia-based entertainment baseball team.
The 28-year-old athlete pretends to have a conversation with someone who points out that he’s “already a dancer.” Jackson rolls his eyes and shakes his head before the video cuts to clips of him performing with the Savannah Bananas.
He is seen spinning around, twerking, and line dancing on the field. He joked, “Yeah so the first rehearsal will be interesting,” in his caption.
With only four contestants announced for DWTS‘s 35th season, the cast is already stacked. Jackson is joined by Summer House’s Ciara Miller and Love Island’s Maura Higgins, and Jimmy Kimmel Live sidekick Guillermo Rodriguez.
Guillermo joined Jimmy’s talk show in 2003 after working security in the show’s parking lot. Now, Guillermo is featured every night alongside Jimmy. He serves as a correspondent on the Oscars red carpet and regularly participates in sketches for the show.
