Hannah Berner supported Blake Lively after calling her a “c*nt” on Netflix‘s Torching 2024: Roast of the Year.
The joke:
The timing of the Summer House alum’s punchline fell flat as Blake’s sexual harassment lawsuit against Justin Baldoni from the set of It Ends With Us wasn’t made public when the comedy special was recorded.
Hannah quipped, โThe word c*nt was trending this year. I donโt think Blake Lively was that bad.”
Hannah on the TIMELINE๐ of the joke:
The reality TV personality turned comedian took to her Instagram story to clarify when the Netflix special filmed VS when it aired. “My joke in the Netflix roast was filmed before the news of the lawsuit. To be 100% clear, I support Blake. xoxo”

*Side note- LOVE that Hannah added the ‘xoxo’ in for us Serena Van der Woodsen fans!*
Blake’s lawsuit against Justin:
The director/star of It Ends With Us was hit with a lawsuit from Blake Lively. Justin was accused of sexual harassment, retaliation, and orchestrating a smear campaign against her during the movie’s press tour.
Blake was supported by her co-stars/friends of twenty years, America Ferrera, Amber Tamblyn, and Alexis Bledel, from the 2005 movie, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants.
The Sisterhood signed a joint statement. Blake was promised “solidarity” in her fight “against the reported campaign waged to destroy her reputation.”
“Throughout the filming of It Ends with Us, we saw her summon the courage to ask for a safe workplace for herself and colleagues on set. We are appalled to read the evidence of a premeditated and vindictive effort that ensued to discredit her voice.”
The statement from the group called out “the unabashed exploitation of domestic violence survivors’ stories to silence a woman who asked for safety,” adding, “The hypocrisy is astounding.”
