Erin Lichy called out the “irony” of Brynn Whitfield‘s claim that she’s the only Real Housewives of New York star who works a full-time job.
ICYMI, Brynn blasted her “unemployed” costars on Jason Tartick’s podcast.
“Think about it. We have influencers, we have models, we have art curators, we have people who worked a J. Crew three years ago. Now, they’re just honorary positions. We have a real estate agent who hasn’t sold a house in seven years.”
Erin clapped back at Brynn’s snide remark about her:
The Mezcalum founder began, “People reached out to me to comment, and I said no.” But Erin didn’t want Brynn to get away with spewing misinformation without defending herself.
“I’m assuming that’s the reason why she was saying all that … to get buzz [for her podcast]. I don’t know really why else you would.”
Regarding Brynn’s blatant lie, Erin explained she “closed on something this summer that was over $4M,’ number one.”
“Number two, I don’t talk about that because that’s just not who I am. I was never even the type of person that posted, ‘Just sold’ or whatever. Real estate agents do that which is smart because. That’s how they get new business.”
“I’ve been making real estate transactions very quietly because it is not my main job right now. That’s not all. It’s not where I’m going in my life. So, when I do a real estate transaction, I don’t talk about it.”
Loose lips:
Brynn is “sitting there talking about how much money she makes, how much she spends on DoorDash, then she’s saying how much we get paid, which is stuff we’re not supposed to talk about.”
Erin was “surprised” by Brynn’s admissions. “I know what’s in the contracts. It’s actually contractual that we’re not supposed to talk about how much we make.”
