Yorkie, aka Erika ‘Jayne’ Girardi, was the latest singer unmasked on Fox’s The Masked Singer and wasted no time shading Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Neither RHOBH fans nor judge Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg were surprised by the reveal. However, Erika blaming Bravo’s production team for failing to show off how fun she is wasn’t on my bingo card.
Unmasked:
After host Nick Cannon credited Jenny for correctly guessing Yorkie’s identity, Erika called out the former Singled Out host. “Jenny, shut up. Jenny, stop.”
Erika was applauded for “bringing so much humor to this role.” Jenny added, “I didn’t know you had it in you.”
Erika declared, “I’m a funny person. They just don’t let me be funny on the other show. I actually have a personality.”
Nick asked how Erika liked being dressed in the Yorkie costume. She joked, “I have never worn more clothes in my entire life. I am so used to being in something [tiny], so I just felt so free. It was nice.”
Erika wasn’t surprised the Yorkie costume was so popular. “If you can’t sell a little dog in a pink miniskirt, you should go home. This was like my inner six-year-old was able to come out and perform for all of you. It was really a treat.”
