Drew Sidora “wasn’t impressed” with the newbies added to the 16th season of the Real Housewives of Atlanta cast.
In a conversation with US Weekly, the RHOA personality revealed her opinion on whether the new ladies Shamea Morton Mwangi, Kelli Ferrell, Brit Eady, and Angela Oakley brought it for their freshman season.
RHOA’s season 16 casting drama:
The casting department did NOT understand the assignment, according to Drew.
“We’ve got some new energy. So, we’re going to see. We are all going to see together what they really bring. I wasn’t impressed. At this point, bring back the OGs.”
“Cynthia [Bailey] showed up. But I needed her more. Cynthia brought me into this group, so I was happy she was back. That’s my girl – my sister – I really love her. She’s so down to earth. But, we needed more of her. She needs to take her rightful place back as a peach holder.”
“Honestly, at this point, I loved working with Kenya. I missed her this season. But that was my girl. I wouldn’t be mad to see Kandi [Burruss], Sheree [Whitfield], Marlo [Hampton]. Pretty much, bring everyone back. They were very entertaining. I think we had a great dynamic.”
Fortunately for Drew, Porsha Williams and Phaedra Parks returned to film alongside her and the newbies.
Season 16 drama:
Kenya Moore was fired mid-season for displaying “revenge porn” of Brit Eady at a Bravo TV cast event. The former Miss USA assured Team Twirl that she’s not guilty of what is being said about her.
