Love Island USA alum Connor Newsum hinted at his short-lived relationship with Katie Maloney on the premiere of Love Island: Beyond the Villa.
During an episode of The Viall Files, the former Vanderpump Rules star clarified that she “went on one date” with Connor after he was dumped from the villa.
How it started:
Katie and Conner were spotted at Laurel Tavern, a restaurant in Studio City, on Tuesday, July 31, 2024.
According to a source, the duo got a table in the corner and weren’t joined by anyone else. The source notes that Katie “looked amazing” during the low-key outing with the eliminated Islander.
A week later, Katie didn’t confirm – nor deny – the rumor. “I’m not going to deny anything, how about that? I don’t think it’s fair to be yapping about it.”
How it’s going:
Katie confirmed Connor pulled her for a chat after he left Fiji, but they weren’t closed off … at all.
Nick, the podcast host, asked the Something About Her co-owner about Conner, her “ex-boyfriend.”
Katie clarified, “I didn’t even categorize it as that. [Our date] became [a news story]. He definitely freaked out a bit.”
Fast forward to the current day. Katie is in love with Sleeping With Sirens singer Nick Martin. Connor announced that he’s dating Carmen Kocourek from Love Island US season 5 on July 2nd.
