Josh Hall took legal action against Christina Haack. US Weekly reported that Josh requested an immediate order to prevent the HGTV superstar from selling her Tennessee home.
Splitting assets:
According to court documents, Josh claimed in the filing that the listing of the home was done without his “consent” or even a “court order.” He acknowledged that the Christina On The Coast star purchased the house before they wed, but explained the home was meant for them to use as a “family” … not a business venture.
“Throughout their separation, Joshua has been staying at the Tennessee home while the property is not being rented out, which he and Chrstina previously agreed to. Joshua shared in the filing that he relocated from Southern California to Tennessee due to the nature of his and Christina’s agreement.”
In the docs, Joshua claimed that he made a “global settlement offer to Christina.” It included terms related to the Parker Branch residence, but the deal was rejected. He also claimed that Christina requested a “written agreement” to sell the residence. But, he did not sign nor agree to the terms.” Allegedly, Josh learned that Christina proceeded with the listing that was featured on Christina in the Country via social media.
In case you missed it:
Joshua moved out of the home he shared with Christina in August. Later, Josh agreed to let Christina have temporary possession of their former shared home in Newport Beach, California.
Additionally, Josh did not object to temporarily granting Christina “exclusive control” over their Eve luxury condominiums in Nashville, Tennessee. “Joshua concurred that the Tennessee home belonged to Christina. He had no ownership over the abode he currently resides in.”
Christina clapped back:
“I have worked my ass off to build this life for myself and my children. Anyone who would try and take what they do not deserve / what they did NOT work for should be ashamed. An insecure man with a large ego can sure try to derail you — but ‘still I rise.’”
