What we know about Chef Anne’s death so far:
Law enforcement sources claimed Stuart last saw Anne alive at 1 a.m. He discovered her body in their Brooklyn home around 7:50 a.m., as per reports from TMZ.
Claxton proceeded to call 911 and was allegedly advised to perform CPR on the Food Network star. Unfortunately, Anne’s body was cold by that time. It remains unclear as to whether the life-saving measure was ever performed.

Chef Anne’s culinary legacy:
Anne spent nine months cooking in Italian restaurants such as La Bottega del ’30 in Tuscany. She served as sous chef at Lidia Bastianich’s Felidia and chef at Savoy in NYC. Later, Chef Anne became executive chef at Centro Vinoteca. She opened Phil & Anne’s Good Time Lounge in Brooklyn in 2017.
Regarding Anne’s TV credits, she started off as Mario Batali’s sous chef on Iron Chef America in 2005. She starred in Secrets of a Restaurant Chef (2008–2012), winning a Daytime Emmy nomination.
From 2010 to 2024, Chef Anne mentored on Worst Cooks in America, leading the Blue Team for 27 seasons with multiple victories. She competed in The Next Iron Chef and won tournaments on “Chopped All-Stars.”
Additional TV credits include Chef Wanted, Chopped, and Beat Bobby Flay. She hosted House of Knives in 2025.
