Bronwyn Newport defends herself against Lisa Barlow’s claims she is not a good friend.
The Bravo drought has deprived us of our favorite snowflake holders during the winter hiatus. But ahead of the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’s return, Bronwyn is clapping back at her former friend, Lisa Barlow.
Lisa replied to a Bravo troll account that shaded her accomplishments in relation to Bronwyn’s.
Lisa replied to the tweet saying “Hi Bronwyn” insinuating Bronwyn created a fake account to troll Lisa.
However; Bronwyn posted the X thread, and called for grace during this difficult time.
“Our show is dramatic and entertaining enough when it follows our real lives,” the mother of 8 dogs begins.
“I’m not sure why we need to do this too. I am not on twitter nearly at all and haven’t been for a month or so.”
“Especially now, I have my hands so full trying to be the best daughter I can to two very sick parents.”
“I am so appreciative for those of you who have reached out and for the cast mates who bothered to. The rest, I wish would at least leave me alone if they can’t wish me well.”
“Making TikTok’s about my outfits or accusations on twitter right now, or last week when my mom was in the icu with a brain tumor is kicking a dog when it’s already down.”

Bronwyn Claps Back
In addition to sharing Lisa’s tweet, she also posted a slew of screenshots showing how she’s been a good friend to Lisa. Despite what Lisa claims on RHOSLC.
“On the show I am willing to say it to people’s faces and stand on it.”
“Off camera | try to be there for friends when they need it. No matter what may have happened between us.”
“Watching the show back I am embarrassed how I didn’t see this wasn’t a deep friendship. I obviously chased too hard and for too long so, I am not surprised I’m not getting support, but I wish the attacks and TikTok’s from some on the show would stop when I’m struggling so hard with my family right now.”
Bronwyn is really going through it as of late with her sick parents. I have to wonder if all this backlash, especially after revealing her history with Todd will have her rethinking coming back for another season.
