Brittany Cartwright claimed she hasn’t been sick since January … the month she legally separated from The Valley‘s villain. Additionally, she noted Jax Taylor sought treatment for the sake of appearances, not to better himself.
During an episode of the When Reality Hits podcast called ‘Rot In Hell,’ *should have been called ‘Rawt In Hail’* Brittany responded to a fan question about the accusation she made about Jax getting treatment being performative.
Brittany Jax’ed Jax:
“I was just so angry; I still am so angry about a lot of things. It’s going to take me a long time to get over. But, the gaslighting and all that stuff that he was trying to do to me … it just wasn’t ok.” Brittany’s claims were evidenced on season one of Vanderpump Rules‘s spinoff show.
“The fact that I had been asking him to get help for a very long time and work on things … try to make things better [in our marriage] for a very long time.” The fired and re-hired Bravo TV personality continued, “It really upset me that I had been trying and trying and trying and then he calls the day before he knew the cameras were going to get picked back up to say he has an appointment with a doctor the following day. That upset me because I had been asking him to actually do that for himself, and to do that for me and Cruz for so long.”
House of Villain:
Brittany believes her baby daddy only got mental health treatment/rehab to gain sympathy from viewers. “It seemed to me that he only did it because the cameras were there. I was not going to stand for that and I was going to call it out. That’s being fake and that’s what I really felt. I’m glad that I did that.”
“There were a lot of things that I feel like I got portrayed as last year. Like, whenever he was saying I was drinking in times when I wasn’t, different things like that. I was getting sick a lot.”
Brittany concluded, “Let me just say I haven’t been sick at all since January,” the month Brittany legally separated Jax in January. “So, there’s that.”
