Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star Britani Bateman’s ex-husband, John Underwood, was recently arrested after allegedly violating a protective order.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, John made his first felony court appearance in Utah on Wednesday following accusations that he harassed Britani.
Prosecutors allege John has been harassing Britani since 2023, after she filed the protective order.
The RHOSLC star claims John has stared at her from the distance allowed under the order, re-routed her mail, and even went as far as tampering with her home’s electrical box to interrupt her power.
Per the documents, John allegedly doxed his ex-wife earlier this month by posting her cell phone number on TikTok with the comment, “There ya go. Give her a call.”
As a result of her number being shared publicly, Britani said she received “unpleasant” text messages from strangers and even had “unknown people coming to her house.”
The documents further explain that the protective order restricts John from any direct or indirect contact or communication with Britani—something prosecutors say he violated by posting comments on her social media posts.
